What is BAYOU return policy?

If you would like to return or exchange an item purchased on our web store, please submit a Return Request and we will get back to you shortly.

Returns and Exchanges only apply to item that has been purchased from our web store.

BAYOU item that is purchased online (excluding promotional or sale items) can be returned within 14 days (for Malaysia) or 30 days (for international) of receipt in exchange for BAYOU Store credit only.

 

Items are available for exchange or store credit only with the following guidelines:

  • You must request for the return/ exchange within 7 days of receiving the item.
  • Returns are accepted if returned within 14 days (for Malaysia) or 30 days (for international) of receipt.
    • The item/s must be in its original condition (not altered in any way) and returned in the original box and packaging.
    • All items/s must be returned to BAYOU before the exchange/ store credit is made.
    • The cost of the original freight and return to the warehouse will not be reimbursed or refunded.

 

Are Returns free?

Unless the items are defective, the shipping cost incurred for returning item/s to BAYOU for an exchange or store credit is to be borne by the customer. In cases where customers are exchanging items, customers are responsible for shipment cost both back and forth.

[Note that we do understand some postage can be costly, we do not expect express returns. Standard postage is acceptable. However, we do advise that this postage be insured to cover an unforeseen circumstances in transit].

Should there be any customs cost incurred for shipping returns, the customer is responsible for all duties and taxes assessed (both outward and inward to BAYOU)

 

What should I do if I receive a wrong product?

If you received a product different from the one that you ordered, please contact us within 7 days and we will be sure to get you the BAYOU items you ordered!

 

How do I place an exchange or return?

If you've met the above requirements, you may submit a Return Request by e-mailing us. 

Step 1: Please provide the following information:

  • Order & invoice number
  • Item to return
  • Reason for return
  • Select return or request an exchange
  • Comments (optional)

You will receive a confirmation e-mail once the Return Request is sent.  Please send all return requests to ask@bayousole.com.

Step 2: Ship the items back to BAYOU’s dedicated address using a trackable shipping service of your choice.

*BAYOU is not responsible for any lost return packages. Hence, a tracking service is a must.

Step 3: E-mail us the tracking number.

Step 4: Your refund will be processed via product exchange or store credit. This will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned items.

 

Where do I send my returned item?

Once your return request has been submitted, we will provide you with the full address when we allocate your Returns Authorisation number. Our warehouse is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

Will I be notified when you receive the returned items?

We will only be in touch once the returned items have been received and processed. Kindly check your delivery status via the tracking number provided by your chosen courier.
